This client didn’t want a standard deck that looked like their neighbors, so we came up with several details that would help set them apart.

This project was met with many obstacles along the way including an old deck built beyond a setback, bluff erosion control, neighbor’s views and a 75′ cliff at the front edge.

There is a bit more than meets the eye with this project. A rubber membrane under the decking provides a dry space below the deck for a future screened patio.
