The Rubene family wanted a nice cedar deck, that fit in the corner of their house, to enjoy their backyard view on.
The Lippert's had a nice patio area outside their basement doors, but wanted a deck off of their dining room. Using substantial cedar posts on the corners, along with aluminum balusters, really make this deck stand out.

The over to top cost of concrete stairs led the Kalidons to hire PHI Decks to build a simple set of cedar steps from their patio door to the concrete patio below.
The Mavetz’s weren’t able to enjoy their patio for a majority of the summer because of the hot Minnesota summer sun. They called PHI Decks to build a cedar pergola to help create some shade and make the patio more useful.

The soil conditions in Medina are wet, sticky clay. Because of this, alternative deck footings are often necessary to ensure proper bearing capacity. On the Weldon’s project we achieved this with metal helical piers.
With a small Minneapolis backyard and city zoning requirements to take into consideration, PHI Decks was able to give the Clarks a free standing deck with built in benches and decorative skirting.
The Zhao’s Shakopee deck is a prime example of the unique shapes that can be done while building a deck.
